Head coach Ryan Maine, his coaching staff and an all-star guest line-up will host a free youth football coach’s clinic to local parents and coaches interested in learning more about the game of football Saturday, March 5 from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Those joining the coaching staff on Saturday will be alumnus Dominic Robinson, former Florida State wide receiver and current defensive coordinator for Graceland University; Aric Williams, former All-Pac-10 Oregon State Cornerback and current cornerbacks coach at the University of Montana; and Rancho Santa Margarita High School alumnus, Chris Rix, former four year starting quarter back for Florida State and currently trains young athletes at Champion Training Academy.
“This clinic will be a great way for the Brahma program to connect with the Pop Warner and youth football community,” Maine said. “If you want to sit down and talk about the fundamentals of youth football, you don’t want to miss this event”.
Additional topics covered on Saturday will be how to establish a team philosophy, preventing injuries, proper nutrition, offensive and defensive drills, game planning for the week, and the essence of leadership.
