Musicians from Diamond Bar High School and Diamond Ranch High School played to a full crowd Saturday afternoon, March 19, for the annual Spotlight on the Arts, hosted by the Diamond Bar Community Foundation.

Henry Shin, guest conductor for the Dvorak's No. 9 (New World) Symphony, is a direct product of the Diamond Bar High Orchestra program, which he said has grown by leaps and bounds since his graduation in 1997. Shin is now pursuing his Ph.D in music at UCLA.

All proceeds from Saturday's concert will go to benefit the Diamond Ranch and Diamond Bar High School music programs as well as the Pacific Crest Youth Arts Organization.
