Below you will find my Principal’s Newsletter. The goal of the newsletter is to include you as part of the DBHS family as well as make you aware of all the great activities and opportunities available to you and your students. Time sensitive activities/events are highlighted in red.

Brahma Foundation Goodwill Fundraiser: The Brahma Foundation is holding a Goodwill donation fundraiser Sunday, May 1st from 9am to 4pm. Please bring your items to the Diamond Bar High School parking lot and donate to help out your school. All proceeds earned help our students and teachers! Thanks for your support. CAAP Casino Night Fundraiser: On April 30th, 2001, CAAP’s Casino Night Dance and Dinner fundraiser will be held at the Sheraton Fairplex in Pomona. The event will be held from 6pm to midnight and the cost is $75.00 per person. Proceeds benefit the CAAP scholarship and educational programs. CAAP Annual Student Recognition Brunch: On Sunday, June 12th, 2011 CAAP will hold its recognition brunch to honor the following seniors: Joseph Daniels, Briana Harrington, Ifeoma Kpaduwa, Gabriella Momah, Emme Nwauka, and Rachel Scott. DBHS Math Students win Regional Title: For the first time in history Diamond Bar High’s math students were named regional Champions in the California Math League Competition! Their results even placed them as the 7th highest score in the entire state. This math test is given on site every February and is open to any student. STAR Testing is next week! We will begin STAR testing on Monday, April 18th and continue through Friday, April 22nd. If you are interesting in helping hand out snacks to students in the morning, please report to the front office at 7:30 am. On Wednesday, your child should be bringing home his/her incentive form showing the results from last year. These tests are an important measure of how we’re doing here at DBHS so please encourage your kids to do their best. Tdap booster required to start the 2011-2012 school year: All students must show proof of the Tdap Pertussis booster in order to start school next year! Beat the rush and get your child’s immunization records updated as soon as possible. Bring proof of the Tdap booster to the health office or fax a copy to (909) 595-8301. Teddy Bear Tea: The Walnut Valley Educational Foundation presents its 15th annual Teddy Bear Tea on Saturday, April 30th from 10am to 2pm at the Royal Vista Golf Course. The event includes a tea, luncheon, silent auction, and raffle. For more information, click on:
