Brahmas are the Champs of the Chappy Wheeler Memorial Golf Tournament in Palm Desert for the first time.

Freshman Bethany Wu took 3rd place honors in the tournament and led the Brahmas to the Championship for the first time ever in this tournament.  Palm Desert has never been beaten in the tournament and they showed why with 3 scores of 70,70, and 71.  Wu shot a 71 to match and Isabelle Shee shot a career round as a Brahma at 73.  Carly Simpson shot a school personal best 74 on day one to help the team break the school record for an 18 hole match at 384.  DB shot the score again to win the title and barely beat a tough and determined Palm Desert team by just 7 strokes over the two day event.

The second squad of Brahmas led by Jessica Lu 87 and 94,  beat a good Ayala squad  and played right with Great Oak and Santa Margarita.   All players playing in the 110 degree heat were awesome, and  by just surviving the very tough conditions showed great heart and determination.
