Walnut Valley Unified School District will have applications for non-residents available for the 2012-2013 “District of Choice” Lottery Program beginning November 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011(students who reside in the Rowland Unified School District are ineligible to apply for the District of Choice program). 

Applications will be available at the front desk of our District Office located at 880 S. Lemon Avenue, Walnut, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and until noon December 16th.  The district office will be closed for the winter break beginning December 19th.

Applications will also be available to print and mail on the district’s website at wvusd.k12.ca.us. 

Applications will be mailed to students currently attending school in the Walnut Valley Unified School District on Inter-District transfer.  Please complete one application per child.

All applications must be received at the District Office (or postmarked) no later than December 31, 2011. 

Duplicate, incomplete or applications received after December 31, 2011, will not be processed. 

If space is limited, a lottery drawing will take place at the last board meeting in January.
