Diamond Bar High School raced to an early lead and easily defeated Rowland 35-19 on Friday in a Hacienda League game.
The Brahmas were impressive on the ground, where they totaled 332 yards.
On its opening possession, Diamond Bar running back Jamaal Clayton scored on a 1-yard run to cap a 10-play, 53-yard drive.
Following two Rowland (2-6, 0-4) punts, the Brahmas scored on a 16-yard pass from Henry Omana to George Katrib.
Rowland pulled within a touchdown on Deandre Douglas' 30-yard touchdown reception with 10:41 left in the second quarter.
Diamond Bar (4-4, 2-2) took a 21-7 halftime lead when Clayton scored again on a 1-yard run.
Rowland opened the second half with a long drive, but a short field-goal attempt was blocked by Gabe Lopez. The Brahmas capitalized by scoring on Austin Szulczewski's 43-yard run to extend their lead to 28-7.
Szulczewski finished with 147 yards on 18 carries.
"I was real proud of our offensive line," Diamond Bar head coach Ryan Maine said. "They allowed Austin Szulczewski to have a nice game.
"We are trying to take pressure off of Henry (Omana) and have a more balanced offense."
Douglas caught four passes for 111 yards and two TDs.
