Our team lost a hard fought meet to Walnut on March 29. Never before have we seen a meet so close in points.
The meet came down to the the last race, 4x400 relay, the winner of that race would walk away victorious. Both teams wanted the win and both teams were surprised by the finish...the last two runners of the 4x400 relay finished at the exact same time...This meant that we would split the points and we needed the Win. Ultimately Walnut won by 2 points. We battled despite loosing our best Pole Vaulter, James Griffith, early in the week to a broken wrist.
We have 3 more League meets and need to win out to have a chance at winning league. This will be no easy feat as all three teams present their own challenges. Time for us coaches to get everything out of our athletes.
We will be facing Rowland at home this Thursday and it proves to be a very good meet. They beat Walnut early this month. Come on out and support your Brahmas!
