Please join me in congratulating Sandy Davis who was recently selected as a semifinalist in the L.A. County Teachers of the Year competition. She joins 25 other semifinalists who have been selected by a Los Angeles County Office of Education judging panel from the Teachers Of The Year applications that were recently submitted. As a semifinalist she has been invited to participate in an interview with a LACOE judging panel. Based on the interview scores, 16 County Teachers of the Year will be selected from among the semifinalists. A public announcement of the county winners will be made at the Teachers Of The Year Luncheon. The applications of the county winners will be forwarded to the California Department of Education for participation in the state Teachers Of The Year Competition. We are so proud of Mrs. Davis's recognition!
