Senior and Brahma Tech student Sara Pak has won 3rd place in the research paper competition at the 2012 International Test & Evaluation Association (ITEA) Annual Symposium and Academia Day. This unique opportunity was made possible through our Brahma Tech partnership with The Boeing Company.
ITEA Academia Day is designed specifically for students focusing their studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). This event provides opportunities for students to see the various Test and Evaluation companies and the projects that they are working today to improve the future tomorrow. The students learn first-hand what skill sets industry is looking for to achieve these goals; the available internships that companies are offering to grow their workforce; and lessons learned from recent college graduates working in the field who tapped into these resources.
The 3 top places received an iPad2, personal bio, picture, and research paper published in the ITEA Journal, and a free year of membership in ITEA. Sara is very excited about all of the perks that came with the contest!
