The Lady Brahma golfers came from behind on Tuesday, October 9, to beat the Walnut Mustangs 196-198. The Brahmas won a share of the league title with the win. DB is 18-0 on the season and 11-0 in league, with one last tough match in the rain at Walnut's home course on Oct 11.
Our Diamond Bar girls golf team has won 62 straight dual matches and have never lost a league match.
The Brahmas are playing all over the country and playing against the best in the country. Bethany Wu played in the top junior tournament in the country last weekend in Oklahoma, called the AJGA Ping Invitational. The top 40 Juniors in the country were all invited. Bethany had a great showing and finished 3rd place. She flew back on Monday, October 8, and helped lead us in our win versus Walnut.
Wednesday, October 10, the girls played in the Knabe Cup and took 4th. Isabelle Shee, our senior captain, led the way with a one under par 73 on the long par 74 course. Isabelle will be playing at UC Riverside next year.
Thursday, October 11, our team will take on Walnut again in Walnut.
