CIF Southern Section champion Bethany Wu added another jewel to her golf crown on Monday, January 21.
The sophomore from Diamond Bar (Calif.) led from wire to wire to capture the championship in the prestigious ANNIKA Invitational in Reunion, Fla., with a sizzling tourney-record 10-under-par 206 for 54 holes. She closed with a 5-under-par 67 after turning in earlier rounds of 68 and 71 during the three-day tournament.
Three strokes behind and tied for runner-up honors with scores of 209 were Emily Pedersen, a freshman from Smoerum, Denmark, and Karen Chung, a senior from Livingston, N.J.
