February 15 and 16 the Brahma Wrestling Team qualified 13 of 14 wrestlers to the Central Section CIF Individual Wrestling Tournament and Placed 5^th out of 41 teams. This was one of the best performances in school history matching the 1998 team who also had 4 CIF Placers.

The following 4 wrestlers placed in the top 5 of their weight class and qualified for next week’s CIF Masters Tournament at Temecula Valley High School:

Jeremy Foo 120lbs Placed 5^th

Nathan Rodriguez 182lbs Placed 1^st (CIF Champion)

Matt Carrillo 195lbs Placed 3^rd

KeAndre Johnson 220lbs Placed 3^rd

If any of the wrestlers place in the top 9 at Masters they will qualify for CIF State on March  1^st & 2^nd at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield.
