The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) and the Southern California Award for Aspirations in Computing have selected
Nicole Chen, Claire Huang, and Alice Jin
as recipients of the 2014 NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing for Southern California. These stellar young ladies are being recognized for their computing-related aspirations and for demonstrated outstanding aptitude and interest in information technology/computing; solid leadership ability; good academic history; and plans for post-secondary education.
This is a prestigious award and they will be honored at the Southern California affiliate award ceremony to be held with the NCWIT Annual Summit, on May 20, 2014 in Newport Beach. Please join me in congratulating Nicole, Claire, and Alice on their accomplishments. It is an honor for our school to have not one, but three recipients this year.
