Senior Dana Li Crowned Miss Diamond Bar 2014

On Sunday, March 23, 2014, Miss Diamond Bar Scholarship Pageant celebrated its 50 year service to the community and the new Miss Diamond Bar and her court were selected from 18 contestants.  17-year-old Dana Li, a senior at Diamond Bar High School, stood out among the contestants and won the crown for Miss Diamond Bar 2014.  Accompanying her on the 2014 court are 4 Princesses:

- Taylor Kalinowski, 18-year-old senior at Diamond Bar High School

- Vivian Li, 18-year-old senior at Diamond Bar High School

- Landi Gonzalez, 18-year-old senior at Diamond Bar High School

- Stephanie Alvarez, 16-year-old junior at Walnut High School

The 18 contestants went through 7 weeks of training, prior to the pageant, on Interview skills, Professional Modeling sessions, Makeup sessions, and fitness training.  In addition, all participated in a successful Fashion Show and a Car Wash Fundraisers.  On Sunday, in addition to the court, the following scholarships and awards were also presented:

- Miss MVP: Lauren Escoto-Kerr, 18-year-old senior at Diamond Ranch High School
- Miss Congeniality: Taylor Kalinowski
- Miss Photogenic: Taylor Kalinowski
- Miss Best Smile: Sierra Avila-Mott, 19-year-old student at Irvine Valley College
- Fashion Show Fundraiser Most Ticket Sold: Bryanna Lim, 16-year-old junior at DBHS and Taylor Kalinowski
- Car Wash Fundraiser Most Ticket Sold: Kimirah Scurlock, 16-year-old junior at DBHS, Aurora Triolo, 16-year-old sophomore at DBHS and Lauren Escoto-Kerr

Miss Diamond Bar Scholarship Pageant Inc. would like to congratulate all the rest of the 2014 contestants for their commitment leading up to the pageant and their phenomenal performance at the pageant:

- Isabelle Cheng, 17-year-old junior at DBHS
- Samantha Simmons, 16-year-old junior at DBHS
- Shivani Trivedi, 17-year-old senior at DBHS
- Akani Pasigan, 17-year-old junior at DRHS
- Sunshine Bultrago, 18-year-old senior at DRHS
- Zilana Alkebaer, 16-year-old junior at DBHS
- Alexis Calvo, 16-year-old junior at DBHS
- Audrey Covarrubias-Aguilera, 16-year-old junior at DRHS

Miss Diamond Bar and her court of 4 princesses will start community service activities immediately following the pageant, and throughout the coming year in over 50 events (refer to our calendar for upcoming events where you can meet the new Miss Diamond Bar and Princesses).  All 5 of them will receive scholarships for their services in representing the City of Diamond Bar.
