Saturday, February 28, Journalism had its best showing in years at the annual regional write-offs at Schurr High School hosted by the Eastern Los Angeles Journalism Education Association.

As a school, we placed first in Newspaper Writing, first in Novice News Writing (Journalism 1 students), and second in the Super Sweepstakes.

In addition, at least 15 students won individual awards.
