Saakib Akbany and Rae Lasko have won this year’s Girls’ League of DBHS Merit Scholarship Award. The $500 award is given to exemplary, graduating DBHS senior students each year. Since Girls’ League is a service based club that reaches out to the community, a primary factor in our decision making process was based on a candidate’s involvement in the community. To be considered for a scholarship, a candidate must be enrolled at or planning to attend an accredited college or university during the 2015-2016 school year.
