Diamond Bar High School alumna Lavanya Jawaharlal and her sister, Melissa, founded STEM Center USA  (http://www.stemcenterusa.com) - a robotics educational company that works to excite the next generation of STEM leaders through hands-on education. They will be featured on ABC's Shark Tank on October 30th at 9 PM PST.

Lavanya graduated from Diamond Bar High School in 2012. She was actively involved in FBLA as the school president for 2 years and a founding member of the DBHS’s FIRST Robotics Team. Lavanya is now finishing her senior year studying Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley.
