DBHS Mock Trial had a tough season this year. With almost 100 teams in the LA County competition, sometimes we end up facing the best teams right off the bat. That is what happened this season with our competitions coming down to only a few points separating us from victory, out of almost 200 points possible.

Our students behaved as DBHS students so often do, with great sportsmanship and obvious skill and preparation. The coaches of the teams we faced went out of their way to commend us, each stating that they felt we had won.

This year our MOCK TRIAL TEAM opted to participate in the courtroom artist competition for Mock Trial. Senior Emily Zhang was chosen to be our artist. Emily sat in the jury box and had the duration of our round of competition, about 2.5 or so to draw this scene. The photo's quality isn’t great but at least shows the judge holding the drawing that Emily drew of him.
