Congratulations to Class of 2013's Nadia Mejia for being crowned Miss California USA 2016 at the pageant held December 4-6 in Long Beach. Her mother is pageant queen Kathy Mejia. Her father, Gerardo Mejia, is a graduate of Walnut High School and became a popular singer with his hit single "Rico Suave" (1991).
