Dear Walnut Valley Community,

We have been monitoring the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) threat all morning.  We have received some calls from parents requesting a status update for WVUSD.  The threat to LAUSD is specific and has no direct impact for our schools.  We continue to work closely with our local Los Angeles County Sheriffs' Department.  Additionally, I have been in contact with other superintendents across the region to calibrate our actions.  At this point, our schools will operate normally with increased awareness from our staff.
