Our two competitive show choirs participated in their first competition at Brea Olinda High School on Friday, February 5th. Marquis (Advanced Mixed Division) won second place honors and Solitaire (Open Women Division) placed second (3 points away from first place) and won the Musicianship Plaque.The Musicianship Plaque is awarded to the school with the highest singing scores.
Our next competition is at Hart High School in Newhall then on to FAME Orlando, Florida over spring break for a National competition. If you haven’t seen these two show choirs in action, we will be having our annual Show Choir Showcase on Friday, March 4, in the DBHS theatre. Come and support our excellent show choirs!
