We are excited by the announcement Wednesday, April 20, that the WVUSD Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Mr. Reuben Jones as the new Principal of Diamond Bar High School.

Mr. Jones “comes home to DBHS” where he was first hired at DBHS as a Teacher and Coach in the mid-90s. He went on to serve as a GLC and Instructional Dean at Walnut High School, and most recently comes highly recommended in his current role as Assistant Principal at Centennial High School. Mr. Jones’ current duties include involvement in all aspects of the high school including oversight of the International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement, Science, and Career Technical Education Programs.

Mr. Jones will “officially” begin his duties as Principal at DBHS on July 1, but will begin meeting with staff and visiting the school immediately.
