Thursday, October 18, our Volleyball team hosted its first annual Dig Pink match to raise money for breast cancer research, and I want to send out a BIG thank you to those who helped us to have a successful night on and off the court! Thanks to those of you who purchased t-shirts, food from the snack bar and raffle tickets, DBHS Volleyball was able to raise $1,034 to donate to the Dig Pink Foundation!!!!! INCREDIBLE! I am honored and humbled to be a part of a program and school that was able to come together to make a sizable donation to a cause as great as this.

My athletes feel so proud of the work that they have done to raise money for breast cancer research, and more importantly they feel empowered to continue to use their voice to make a positive impact in the lives of others. So I thank you again for your support, it means more than you know!
