Crystal Chang, Class of 2016, received a perfect score on the 2016 Advanced Placement Spanish Language and Culture Exam. She was one of only 108 students in the world (amounting to just 0.07% of all 2016 AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam takers) to achieve this accomplishment.
Crystal is now a freshman at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is thinking about majoring in Biology with a minor or second major in Management. She plans on going to medical school. Crystal said, "I'm really glad I chose to take Spanish; it's a super valuable skill to have and I'm actually looking into taking a class on medicine in the Spanish-speaking world that will be taught entirely in Spanish!"
Crystal recently shared this great news with her AP Spanish teacher, Charlotte Sorenson, in a letter written in Spanish.
