Hello Brahmas,
WEEK 14 – November 14 – November 18, 2016
Reflection:
I hope everyone had a wonderful three-day weekend as we honored our Veterans and their sacrifice and service to our country.
Last week was full of incredible events. The election results were full of surprises. The events in Walnut Valley Unified School District and at Diamond Bar High were equally exciting. For our District, voters approved a school bond which will have dramatic improvements for every school in our district. For the Brahmas, we have a golfer, Crystal Wang, competing in the CIF Individual Finals this Tuesday, 11/15. Also, in only their third year, the Boys Water Polo team won their quarter-final match vs Arcadia. The team advances to the CIF semi-finals this Wednesday at p.m. A Water Polo win on Wednesday puts us in the CIF Division 6 Championship match on Saturday, 11/19! In addition, for the third year in a row, our Band won the top honor Sweepstakes award at the Bayside Review in Chula Vista last weekend and now head to the Championship Band competition this weekend in Arcadia. It has been a good week at Diamond Bar High. We have much to be thankful for!
Special thanks to Head Golf Coach, Tony McCabe, Water Polo Coach, Alex Matal, and Band Directors Steve Acciani & Marie Sato!
