WEEK 27 – February 27 – March 3

Reflection:

Last fall, our students competed amongst a quarter of million other math students in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC). Of these students, approximately 10,000 qualify for the American Invitational Mathematics Exam (AIME). A school is fortunate to have one (1) student qualify… last week, twelve (12) Diamond Bar High School students were invited to this exam! This is a tremendous accomplishment and we are so proud of CHEN, BENJAMIN Y, (138.0), CHEN, QINHONG (114.0), HO, MATTHEW I (114.0), HE, WILLIAM (111.0), CHANG, DARIN (109.5), KAO, PEYRIN Y (106.5), YEH, TIMOTHY J (106.5), DUA, RAJVIR (105.0), TSENG, SABRINA (105.0), PENG, ERIC Z (100.5), HONG, WEIWEN (97.5), and HUANG, DANIEL (96.0).

Last week, our Girl’s Water Polo season ended in the CIF Championship game against #1 Santa Ynez. Our girls had an amazing season and they set many records in only their 3rd year competing! The championship game went into overtime and we were only seconds away from being the CIF Champs. Great job Brahmas!
