The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) have selected

Irene Chang, Zaina Siyed, Leslie Sim, Sabrina Tseng, & Shannen Barrameda

as recipients of the 2017 NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing for LA & OC Metro Section. These stellar young women are being recognized for their computing-related aspirations and for demonstrated outstanding aptitude and interest in information technology/computing; solid leadership ability; good academic history; and plans for post-secondary education.

 All of these ladies are part of our Brahma Tech Program.

These girls will benefit from exclusive scholarships, internships, contests, and other opportunities posted by NCWIT on a private page. This is a prestigious award and they will be honored at an award ceremony to be held on April 23rd. Please join us in congratulating Irene, Zaina, Leslie, Sabrina, and Shannen on their accomplishments. DBHS has had multiple recipients every year for the last five years.
