Reflection:

I hope everyone enjoyed Open House last week. It was amazing to see all the creative activities our students and staff prepared for the community. A highlight for me was the National Anthem played by one of our students from the Commercial Music Program, Glenn Anarde. Thanks to Commercial Music Director, Mr. Daryl Hernandez for preparing our students to perform! As parents, WVUSD Board members, and District Administration walked around campus, all I heard was positive comments and amazement of the learning opportunities our students experience here at Diamond Bar High School. To all of our teachers, thank you so much for dedication and commitment to excellence in all of the Five A’s: Academics, Arts, Athletics, Activities and Access! To Instructional Dean, Whitney Prenger, thank you for your overall leadership and coordination in organizing our2017 Open House! The evening was festive, educational and very welcoming. Great job Brahmas!

• SBAC Testing 11^th Graders is right around the corner, March 27 & 28 - Math, and April 3 & 4 - ELA. Click HERE for practice questions and preparation tips.  
• AP Testing May 1 – May 12: We administer approximately 2500 AP examinations at Diamond Bar High School! To do this, it is critical to have parent volunteers to help as proctors. Proctors distribute and collect examination materials and monitor the testing environment—no experience required! If you can serve as a proctor, download the attached application, indicate your availability by filling out the form, and return the form to Lisa Krueger at DBHS or via email at[email protected].

College & Career Preparation:
