Reflection:

Recently, 14 DBHS students traveled to Sacramento to compete at the Cal-HOSA State Leadership Conference. HOSA (Health Occupations Student Association) is a unique co-curricular experience embedded within our Health Science classes. I am proud to congratulate the students listed below for their accomplishments:

Seniors – Elaine Yip, Ajeet Bhatia, Nikki Jatwani

Juniors – Kathleen Hsu, Jamie Liang

Sophomores – Megan Chen, Hannah Zhang

Freshman – Kevin Hsieh

Special thanks to our Head Athletic Trainer & Health Science Teacher, Chase Paulson, for preparing our students! Over 3,000 Future Health Professionals from around the state competed at this conference. I am excited to share that Elaine Yip has qualified to go to Orlando, Florida, this June to compete at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Biomedical Laboratory Science!

Moreover, SBAC results play an important role in your child’s college application and admission process.
