WEEK 35 – May 1 – May 5

Hello Brahmas,

This Tuesday was a special day for Diamond Bar Photography Teacher, Mr. Bill Foley. You may recall that last week we celebrated Mr. Foley being selected as Diamond Bar High’s Teacher of the Year. Well, this week, Mr. Foley was selected as Walnut Valley Unified School District’s Teacher of the year! Joined by Mr. Foley’s three children and wife, our District Superintendent, Dr. Taylor, and his Cabinet came by school on Tuesday and surprised Mr. Foley with the announcement during 2^nd period. There are over 600 teachers in our district and we are so proud of Mr. Foley. We celebrate his selection as our district’s top teacher! Click HERE to see the surprise moment.

In Athletics, congratulations to our Boy’s Golf team led by Head Golf Coach Tony McCabe who has extended their league winning streak to 9 consecutive titles and were undefeated this year! The Boys now head into league finals this week.

Our Badminton team led by Head Coach Kemp Wells is also on an amazing winning streak. Last week, our Brahmas captured 1^st place in all but one individual competition.  This week, the team is competing for their 6^th consecutive CIF team championship!
