On Saturday, May 13, four of our Track & Field athletes competed in the CIF prelims at Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo. Initially, five athletes had qualified but Etania Cheng injured herself at practice last week and was unable to compete. Here are their records for the season.
• Samantha Blazek
– Discuss - Junior Record set – 111’6”
– Shot Put - Personal Record set – 32’2.5”, which places her in 4th on the DBHS School Records list.
• Leonardo Lervold
– High Jump – Currently tied for 4th on the DBHS School Records list.
• Justin Ofori
– 300 meter Hurdles – Personal Record set – 41.29 seconds, which places him in 4th on the DBHS School Records list.
• Kailen Smith
– High Jump – Currently 3rd on the DBHS School Records list.
