Tuesday, August 22, DBHS instructional dean Whitney Prenger was appointed as the Interim Principal at Vejar Elementary School!

This is very exciting for Whitney! We are so happy for her, and supportive of her promotion. Whitney’s leadership is outstanding and Vejar is very lucky to have her as their principal! Please join me in congratulating Whitney!

Also, at Tuesday's Board Meeting, DBHS English teacher Julie Galindo was appointed to fill Ms. Prenger's current position as the Interim Instructional Dean of the Arts and English Division for Diamond Bar High!

Julie has done an excellent job at Diamond Bar, and I am so pleased to welcome her to our administration team! Julie’s leadership is evident not only at Diamond Bar with her role in WASC, and our Data Team, but she is also a leader in our District’s Crisis Team, Peer Assistance Review Program and Leadership Program.

Please join me in congratulating both Whitney and Julie on their new promotions!
