Hello Brahma Parents and Guardians, 

WEEK 4 – September 4 – September 8  

Welcome to an abbreviated Week 4. I hope everyone had a restful three-day weekend, and an enjoyable Labor Day. I think we all agree that it was nice to have one more day to relax and be home.

Last week did not end the way most expected, and I am so proud of our students, staff and community following the tough loss to Walnut in the Branding Iron Game. First, thanks to ourHead Football Coach Kevin Argumosa and the way our team competed on Friday night. After the game, I received numerous messages about our class and sportsmanship and that is a reflection of our football coaching staff. Thanks also to our Cheerleaders, Marching Band & Colorguard, Commercial Music Band, USB and all our Brahma students supporters. We will bring the Branding Iron home next year!

Updates and Reminders: 

• Back To School Night – Thanks to all our Brahma Teachers for welcoming our school community to BTSN last Wednesday. Also, thanks to Interim Instructional Dean, Julie Galindo for coordinating the evening’s schedule, and helping to make the night a great success for all.

• Reminder - The Last day to DROP A CLASS without it showing on the official transcript is this Friday, September 8. If students want to drop a class, they will need a signed note from their parent to drop. Please have your student see their GLC if they want to drop.

• Parents, come to Casino Night and help raise money for our new LED Video Display Score for our Stadium! Friday Night, September 29, 2017. Click HERE for more info!

• Special Thanks to our Hispanic Organization of Parents and Education (HOPE) for sponsoring Catalyst’s two-day SAT and ACT Bootcamps. The Bootcamps arm students with go-to strategies for every question they’ll face on the day of the test so they can march into the test with confidence, momentum, and every key strategy fresh in their mind.
