Principal's Memo - Week 6

WEEK 6 – September 18 – September 22

Hello Brahma Parents and Guardians,

Our first 6-week grading period ends this Friday, September 22. The grades posted in Aeries are not official and will not appear on your child’s academic transcript. Instead, the 6th week grade provides a “check point” to see how things are going. As a reminder, if your child needs additional support, please encourage them to see their GLC. We have our Academic Support Program, after school tutoring through CSF, and important resources to help your child succeed.

Speaking of success, last week, Senior GLCs, David Desmond andJenna Brummett provided a breakfast celebration for ten of the top academic students in the nation…our National Merit Semi-Finalists! These students have the opportunity to compete for an academic scholarship.

Congratulations to our 2018 National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalists:

Ruiyan Cao, Brain Chang, Alex Cheng, Matthew Ho, Sungjoo Jeon, Alvin Lee, Eric Peng, William Shao, Crystal Song, and Amy Xia.

These outstanding students scored in the top 1% of 1.6 million testers nation-wide.
