Reflection:

Last week our Brahmas had a tough loss to Bonita High School in our Homecoming Football Game (Brahmas 39, Bearcats 42). Even though we lost, I am very proud of our team and thankful to Kevin Argumosa for his dedication and hard work with our student-athletes.

Congratulations to Homecoming Queen Kaitlyn Lee and Homecoming King Christian Park. Special thanks to USB Commissioners Virginia Wang and Jackie Gabela, and Mrs. Janna Van Horn for organizing all the events for Homecoming 2017!

Team Sprocket had an excellent competition this weekend. Special thanks to Instructional Dean, Gabriel Aguilar for coordinating and advising our students. Mr. Aguilar said, “We finished our preliminary rounds ranked 7th out of 36 teams, and made it to playoffs as the captain of the 5th ranked alliance.”   Great job Team Sprocket!

Our Mathletes began their quest for another national title with a win in their opening 2017–2018 Math Madness competition against Harvard Westlake 38-33. Our top scorers:

            Scoring 8 out of 8:

Timothy Yeh, Keshav Sriram, Qinhong Chen

            Scoring 7 out of 8:

Michael Wu, Clara Kim, Eaman Tang, Danny Mansour, Rajvir Dua, Sean Chang, William Shao

Congratulations Brahmas Mathletes!
