Welcome to Week 17. Last week, I received news that two of our freshmen, Megan Hoand Joshua Chou, under the team name Project Defying Gravity, took first place at the annual JPL Invention Challenge Finals held at JPL on Friday, Dec. 1! Click HERE for the exciting news release from JPL.

Updates and Reminders:
- Friday, December 15 – The response to the Girls Build LA Leadership Summit at the Los Angeles Convention Center has been overwhelming for us and for the event organizers! They have emailed me and requested I send them any unused tickets. Unfortunately, we have had to turn away students as we were only allowed 45 tickets. We had hundreds of students submit their permission slips on time and in order to be fair, we randomly selected participants to attend. If your daughter was selected to attend, and will not be able to participate, please notify her GLC immediately. We have a very long waiting list! Thanks.

Free Tutoring - CSF offers peer tutoring Monday - Thursday from 3:00pm – 4:30pm. Support available in all subjects.
