Thursday, December 14, our varsity team won its first league match, beating Bonita. One down, 4 to go.
This past weekend, a select group of wrestlers competed at a very tough Mann Classic. Conner Diamond earned an 8th place medal. All tournaments we are in have 32 wrestlers in each weight class, and Conner continues to impress against competition that includes state placers.
This Thursday, we will have a home league match vs Glendora. Wrestling begins at 5:30 p.m. Why not stop by and begin your vacation with some exciting matches? Also, pick up that last minute Christmas gift of a DBHS wrestling shirt at the match for $ 15. We made the shirts even better, so the price is higher than last week.
Over the next few weekends, select wrestlers will be competing at the Brea tournament, Tournament of Champions, and Nogales tournament. Please let me know if you would like info about these tournaments.
