Saturday, January 27, five outstanding Brahmas competed in the LA Regional Science Bowl competition, hosted by JPL.  The team went 3-1-1 in the initial rounds of the competition, where they lost to Santa Monica (who ended up 2nd overall), but destroyed the ponies from Walnut.  In the Championship bracket, we lost our only two rounds to Troy (4th overall) and Whitney High (Cerritos) in a close match.

Please congratulate Yuwen Wang (11), Tiffany Wu (12), Brian Chang (12), Keshav Siriam (10) and Timothy Yeh (11) for their hard work and professionalism leading up to and during the event.  They really were exceptional that day.   Their advisor is science teacher Jose Marquez.
