Saturday, March 17, our Track & Field Team competed in the Jim Polite Walnut Invitational at Walnut High School. Here are the highlights:

12th grader Clara Ru broke her previous personal record of 16.38 sec (which was the 2nd fastest time in school history) by 0.49 sec to run a time of 15.89 sec, which is a new school record!! The previous school record was 15.99 sec set in 1996 by Candice Taylor. Awesome job Clara!!

Our girls and boys varsity 4x200m relay teams both earned 9th place on the All-Time list.

Girls – 10th Kiara Pedroza, 12th Elise Hou, 10th Madison Bernardino, 11th Paula Williams

Boys – 10th Irwin Chen, 10th Ricky Kuo, 12th Cristopher Cardozo, 11th Jeremiah Chukwudobe.
