Gabrielle Niko (DBHS Class of 2017) and her crew team became the first Sacramento State "novice eight" to ever win a medal at the San Diego Crew Classic, March 25, 2018.

While at Diamond Bar High, Gabrielle Niko participated in 2 years of junior varsity cross country, 1 year junior varsity track and field and 4 years varsity swimming. Receiving NCAA division 1 rowing scholarship from Sacramento State last April.
