Tuesday, April 24, was our final league meet of the season at home. Unfortunately, we lost to Claremont, boys 77-50, girls 100-36. There were some highlights though:
Marissa Vasquez (10th) broke the school record in the 800m with a time of 2:17.65!! (SEE PHOTO) The previous school record was set in 2005 by Christina Cortez.
Abigail Nakaishi (11th) ran a personal record in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.92, earning 7th place on the DB Top 10 list, and a personal record in the 300m hurdles with a time of 48.68, earning 6th place on the DB Top 10 list!
