The mighty Brahma Badminton Team rolled into Orange County to defeat the Westminster Lions by a score of 17-4 in the CIF Semi-Finals of the Open Division.

Captain Jasmine Huang led the way – claiming two points in Mixed Doubles (with partner Brandon Zhou) and two points in Women’s Doubles with partner Claire Wang.  Claire Wang also won her Mixed Doubles match, coupled with partner Daniel Huang.  Daniel Huang won two points in Men’s Doubles paired with Owen Che.

Mirabelle Huang and Connor Lam easily defeated their Mixed Doubles opponents, claiming two points for the team.

Megan Lee and Crystal Wai swept Women’s Singles, earning 4 points for the team.

Vanessa Do and Lucy Zhang were equally strong, winning two points in Women’s Doubles.

The Brahmas travel to Arcadia Saturday, May 12, to play the Apaches in the CIF Championship at 2 p.m.  This will be the Brahmas ninth consecutive trip to the Championship Match!
