The Division 1 Esperanza Aztecs visited our Diamond Bar tennis courts Wednesday, April 29, hoping to knock off the number four ranked Brahmas. Diamond Bar did not play the role of the gracious host as they sent the Aztecs home with a 12-6 loss. Philip Kozan and Derick Tom swept their sets as did our number one double team of Maiki Kitagawa and Austin Chen. Freshman, Steward Yang took two of his three sets. The 16-2 Brahmas face El Dorado Friday, May 1, at El Dorado. League Finals begin next Tuesday, May 5, at the Claremont Tennis Club where we will have the number one and two seeds in singles and the number one seed in doubles.
