Chase Paulson achieved his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from California Baptist University, in 2009. After this, Chase began working on his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training, also at California Baptist University, graduating in 2011 and earning his certification shortly thereafter.
Chase is currently the Head Athletic Trainer and teaches through the San Gabriel Valley ROP as Diamond Bar’s CTE Instructor for their Patient Care Pathway. Chase is also the Advisor for the Diamond Bar HOSA – Future Health Professional chapter.
In 2014 Chase was selected to be a member of the CIF Southern Section Athletic Trainers Advisory Committee, and in 2015 was selected to assume the role of Head State Master Assessor for the CIF’s Wrestling Weight Management Program. Chase was selected as the NATA District 8 Chair of the Secondary Schools Committee from 2016 to 2020. Chase received the CIF-SS Jim Staunton Champion for Character award in 2017. In March 2018 Chase authored the feature article for Training & Conditioning Magazine titled: “Treating the Athlete: A Smarter Return” focusing on the classroom management of concussed student-athletes. He has continued to be an active participant on the California Athletic Trainers’ Association Governmental Affairs Committee's Legislative Action Team since 2012.
Chase is CPR/first-aid instructor certified, and holds a certification in Gavilán Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. He is an approved Preceptor for the University of La Verne’s Athletic Training Education Program where he oversees athletic training students.
In his spare time, Chase enjoys spending time with his wife, Sammantha, and daughter, Olivia. He is an avid fan of all things Disney.
