Examples of our excellence include our California School Board Association (CSBA) Golden Bell Award for our Wellness Center, our California Department of Education (CDE) Gold Ribbon Awards in Student Wellness and Performing Arts, our National Championship Robotics and “Math Madness” teams, our CIF Championship Athletic teams, and our Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) Crown Finalist for our Yearbook!

We are pleased to provide a warm, stimulating environment where students are actively involved in learning academics as well as positive values. Students receive a standards-based, challenging curriculum by dedicated professional staff and is based on the individual needs of the students. We are proud to offer our students opportunities to participate in Advanced Placement (AP) courses, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB), Pathways Communications Academy, award winning Performing Arts (including Instrumental Music, Choral Music, Drama and Dance) and CIF championship athletic teams. Ongoing evaluation of student progress and achievement helps us refine the instructional program so students can achieve academic proficiency.

As one of two comprehensive high schools in the Walnut Valley Unified School District, we are proud to embrace our District motto "KIDS FIRST - Every Student, Every Day".
