  Mrs. Coleen Gee's AP Studio Art students worked on The Trashy Chic project. Students looked at a collection of couture fashion by Alexander McQueen for inspiration. They then created their own wearable art using recycled materials.

• 7:46 Thundering Herd's Rose Bowl 2019 Halftime Show Featured

  Saturday, January 19, our Thundering Herd performed the halftime show at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl held at the Rose Bowl. The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is the premier postseason all-star game for draft-eligible college football players. NFL recruiters, agents, fans and the families of players were in attendance to see the game and the halftime show! Go Brahmas!

• 2:12 Cheer Competes In First CIF Championships Featured

  Saturday, January 12, our CHEER TEAM competed at the the first ever CIF State Championships at Colony High School. Eighteen schools competed. Our Brahmas were among the Top 8. Great job! Congratulations to the ladies and coaches: Coach Shannon, Coach Roberto and Coach Simonson.

  Annually, our calculus teachers invite their former students to return to DBHS to share their experiences in college. Friday, January 11, approximately 35 Brahma alumni accepted the invitation and spoke to students during the seven different periods of Calculus classes. Some of these alumni have just started their undergraduate experience. Others have already graduated. Thank you to all of them for returning to help the next generation of Brahmas. Since questions and answers varied between periods, a video of more than one period will be posted.
