Today, we are sending to you Video Message #4 of our COLLEGE AND CAREER Video Message Series. Video Message #4 focuses on the College Admission’s Process, Platforms and Instructions on “How Do I Begin the College Application Process?”.
Since we are not able to meet in person, it is even more important for students and parents to take “ownership and responsibility” in educating themselves on the COLLEGE AND CAREER preparation process. We believe that these Video Messages will be very helpful and provide detailed instructions on each of the Topics.
After each Video Message is published, we will post it to the Class of 2021 Webpage along with accompanying PowerPoints and supporting Documents. Please enjoy and please “own” this and educate yourself on this exciting journey we are about to start…Your future College and/or Career Planning.

Thursday, August 9, marked the end of two weeks of Marching Band Summer Camp at DBHS. Members of the DBHS Thundering Herd performed for family members. This video shows them performing part of this season’s football halftime show. Go Herd!
Congratualtions to engineering teacher Johnny Hwang who was announced as Diamond Bar High's TEACHER OF THE YEAR Friday, April 27. The announcement was made at the annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon hosted by our seven parent organizations. Mr. Hwang was chosen by his peers to represent them.
He has been a dedicated educator for 20 years. His commitment to excellence shows in the quality of his students’ work. His engineering program is thriving due to his superior teaching skills and rapport with students. This year, DBHS received recognition as a “PLTW Distinguished School” in the area of achievement. Mr. Hwang is our only PLTW teacher. He teaches all four levels of the PLTW Engineering program, in addition to robotics and AP Biology. He is always prepared to deliver high-quality and engaging lessons to his students. He is just an awesome teacher! Congratulations!

Uploaded Jun 22, 2019We are excited to announce that our student ID Card process has changed. Parents/Guardians will be receiving a text message link Wednesday, June 16, that will allow their students to submit a selfie to use for their Student ID card.
Once the student's selfie is submitted and approved their printed ID Card will be available for pickup during school registration. They will also have access to a digital ID right on their phone!

Tuesday, November 28, our Diamond Bar High School Wellness Center hosted its first TEDx event. TEDx events are produced independently of TED conferences, each event curates speakers on their own, but based on TED's format and rules. Sixty-five DBHS students auditioned before a panel of staff members. Nineteen were chosen as speakers who who shared their ideas with English classes in our theater.
