The International Baccalaureate (IB) aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
The IB has four programs for students aged 3-19. These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right. The programs also empower students to take ownership in their own learning and help them develop the knowledge, skills, and sense of purpose they need to thrive throughout their lives.
Diamond Bar High School offers the IB Diploma Program (DP). The IBDP is a challenging two-year curriculum, primarily aimed at students aged 16 to 19. It leads to a qualification that is widely recognized by the world’s leading universities. The diploma program prepares students for university and encourages them to:
ask challenging questions,
learn how to learn develop a strong sense of their own identity and culture,
develop the ability to communicate with and understand people from other countries and cultures.
