The Mt. SAC program is funded by Mt. SAC and taught exclusively on our campus. All classes are high school classes and A-G approved. This program is free of charge.  Course offerings may change due to a variety of circumstances. Courses will only be offered if there are enough students interested in taking the course. Courses that do not have enough interest will be canceled.
 
All Mt. SAC High School Program Summer School classes will run 7:30 am - 1:30 pm
 

 

Course Offerings for Non Tuition Classes through Mt. SAC High School Program

 

Classes for Advancement:

Algebra I - Must have earned a B- or higher in second semester of CC 8

Music Appreciation - CSU/UC VPA  Open to all students

Stagecraft - CSU/UC VPA  Open to all students  (*NOTE: 7:30am - 1:00pm)

World History - open to Class of 2028 and 2029 students

Modern American History - open to Class of 2026 & 2027 students only  (AKA US History)

Civics/Economics - Class of 2026 ONLY. Current JUNIORS only. Must take both classes = 6 weeks

 

Classes will take place on DBHS campus. Instruction will be in person.

These courses are offered to our current 11th, 10th, and 9th grade students (in that order) and current 8th grade students who will be DBHS 9th grade students in the fall of 2025.

 

Mt. SAC Class registration will be open from February 7- 25 and rosters will be posted on February 26, 2025.

Mt. SAC classes for advancement will be filled using a lottery system.

Priority will be given in the following order (11th, 10th, 9th and current 8th grade students)

Geometry - open to students who received a D or F in Geometry

Algebra II - open to students who received a D or F in Algebra II

Rosters are posted below.  If your ID number is on a roster, make sure that you check your school email and use the link to reserve your spot by 3/7/25.  If you do not reserve your spot, you will be removed from the class and the spot will go to someone else.
