Rajaie Batniji was Diamond Bar High School United Student Body president from 1998-1999.
He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with distinction from Stanford University in 2003, where he earned BA and MA degrees in History and served as a Junior and Senior Class President. He was awarded a Marshall Scholarship in 2006 to study at Oxford University, where he is completing a doctorate in international relations on global health policy. At Oxford, Rajaie is a researcher at the Global Economic Governance Programme, and Junior Dean of University College.
Rajaie graduated with an MD from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine in 2009. He has worked as a consultant to the World Health Organization, traveled and worked in over 25 countries, and published articles in top academic journals.
